John Lee Dr. John D. Lee, D.D.S. went to be with his Lord on May 24th, in Lufkin, Texas, he was born in Fort Still, Oklahoma on January 27, 1951. Dr. Lee was a longtime dentist in the Channelview area. He was an avid outdoor sportsman having competed in the B.A.S.S. championship series and his deep affection for bow hunting. Dr. John is commonly referred to as "tuthdoc" on the website. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 35 years, Judy Lee; daughters, Jennifer Carnathan and her husband, Matt; Jamie Lee and her fiancé, Mason; mother, Jean Lee; sister, Paula Thomas and her husband, Daniel; brothers, Bobby Lee and his wife, Kathy; Mark Lee and his wife, Sue; grandsons, Logan and Caden; John also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. The family received friends from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. May 28th at Channelview Church of Christ, in Channelview. The church service, a celebration of John's life was held at 11:00 a.m. May 29th. Officiating at the church was by Mr. Donnie Carnathan. Interment was at San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery.
